Biomass & Biogas
Biomass and biogas are not genuinely green solutions — they worsen the climate and biodiversity crises while receiving massive public subsidies.

Digital infrastructure on land already affected by development, powered by additional clean energy and accountable to water, the climate and communities.

IKEA 2.0
The world believes IKEA is sustainable. The reality is more complicated. An Agent Green & BMF report exposes the “fast furniture” model and forest destruction.
Natura 2000
The Natura 2000 network is the EU’s main tool for biodiversity conservation. Romania still does not meet European habitat protection targets.
Stop Illegal Logging
Every year, 8–19 million m³ of timber disappear without appearing in official records. Agent Green documents and exposes illegal logging in Romania’s forests.
Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs)
The campaign that eliminated GMO crops from Romania — a victory for transparency and control over genetically modified food.
PEACE
Peace is not the absence of war, but the invisible infrastructure that makes life, human dignity and nature protection possible. Agent Green is a member of the International Peace Bureau.
National Parks
National parks are the core of Romania’s biodiversity and the foundation of a network strictly protecting 10% of its territory, in line with EU goals.
Plastic
Plastic is “solid oil” and humanity’s most persistent toxic footprint. Agent Green has fought plastic pollution from its very first day.
Protecting Primary Forests
Romania shelters the last primary and near-primary forests in temperate Europe. Agent Green fights for their strict protection, in line with obligations to the EU.
Save the Bees
Neonicotinoid pesticides are lethal to pollinators and threaten food security. The campaign contributed to the EU ban in 2018.
Romania’s Living Backbone
A network of functioning, intact ecosystems — Romania’s “living backbone” — that sustains life and must be strictly protected across at least 10% of the territory.
STOP Gravel Mining
Illegal extraction of gravel from riverbeds destroys river ecosystems and has serious effects on local communities and nature.
STOP DN66A
A campaign against building DN66A through the Retezat–Godeanu–Țarcu Mountains, which would destroy the last intact forest landscape in temperate Europe.
Transelectrica
Transelectrica’s 400 kV overhead power line project cleared 143 hectares in protected areas and affected 14 protected areas — an emblematic case of systemic corruption.
Wildlife
Agent Green fights trophy hunting and works to protect wildlife, including the 2016 victory banning bear-killing quotas.
