Our projects
Alongside campaigns, Agent Green develops conservation, education and direct-action projects to protect nature.
Nature’s Lawyer
A strategic legal programme through which Agent Green challenges illegal forest management plans in court and demands enforcement of environmental law.
Carpathian Peace Parks
An environmental diplomacy initiative: a network of eight peace parks along the Carpathians, united by a 1,500 km trail symbolising nature’s regeneration.
Resilient Communities for Resilient Forests
Agent Green supports the communities in Domogled, Făgăraș and Făget to defend their forests through field investigations, court action, civic education and video documentaries.
Digitising Protected Area Boundaries
Agent Green published the digitised boundaries of protected areas, preventing arbitrary interpretations by authorities and investors.
Forever Forest
A sustainable forestry model on 650 ha in the Vrancea Mountains: no clear-cutting, hunting or exotic species — proof that forests can be managed responsibly.
Courage Gala
An annual event recognising civic courage in environmental protection — the first edition took place on 3 June 2024 at the Romanian Athenaeum, marking 15 years of Agent Green.
More Forest
A vision to increase Romania’s forest cover from 29% to at least 40%, in line with recommendations from the Romanian Academy and the EU.
I Am Nature
An educational programme that brings nature closer to children — more than 130 workshops to build a generation that understands and protects the environment.
