The SUNT NATURĂ educational programme
Dear teachers, parents, children and students,
We warmly invite you to explore Nature with us on a wonderful journey to understand the unseen connections between all its wonders: plants, animals and people.
Alongside all this information and much more that will bring children closer to Nature, we will discuss how important our decisions and choices are and how they affect Nature. What we can do for Nature every day and how we can protect it; what resources Nature offers us and how we can use them without destroying the environment.
However young or old you are, you too are part of Nature!
Through these meetings, we want to give the next generation something extremely valuable to carry with them: respect and care for Nature and all forms of life.

What have we achieved so far?
In collaboration with county school inspectorates and the Bucharest school inspectorate, during the pandemic we received over 130 requests for online workshops.
Through teachers who gave us access to the online platforms already used by their pupils, we were able to hold over 70 environmental education activities.
We reached 43 schools and high schools in 29 localities. (Botoşani, Iaşi, Dorohoi, Cluj, Motru, Galaţi, Timişoara, Reşita, Vulcan, Bistriţa, Prundu Bârgăului, Berbeşti, Protopopeşti, Vlădeni, Holboca, Săcele, Caracal, Videle, Petroşani, Poieni, Rm Vâlcea, Baia Mare, Plugari, Ruscova, Sălsig, Boiu Mare, Vima Mică, Floreşti, Bucureşti).
So far, over 70 teachers have supported this project and helped us interact with more than 1,400 pupils.
At university level, we gave presentations at the invitation of students and lecturers from Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University in Iaşi, Politehnica University Timişoara and Texas Christian University, USA.
